Blend Carbonate of PC & EC In Different Ratio
1.Product Introduction
Blend carbonate is a colorless, tasteless and transparent liquid processed by special process according to a certain proportion of two carbonates at room temperature.
The two products are:
Ethylene Carbonate and Propylene Carbonate.
There are four conventional ratios (calculated by mass) of Ethylene Carbonate (EC) and Propylene Carbonate (PC) <the following two products are referred to as> in the Blend Carbonate:
EC：PC=75:25
EC：PC=50:50
EC：PC=30:70
EC：PC=25:75

3.Product feature and application
Blend Carbonate is an excellent polar solvent. It has excellent solubility, high flash point, slow volatilization, low odor and excellent performance in biodegradability and is non-toxic and environmental protection.
It can replace traditional solvents with high VOC and high toxicity, such as Tetrachloroethylene, Trichloroethylene, Acetone and Dichloromethane and so on.
In many intermediates it is used to replace Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide Glycol, Ethylene Glycol or Propylene Glycol, for its chemical reactions have stronger selectivity and can effectively reduce side reaction products and pollutants.
The main application fields include epoxy resin reactive diluent, cleaning and degreasing, paint demoulding, chemical reaction intermediate, polyurethane reactive dilution and sand casting binder.

At present, the proportion of Blend Carbonate commonly sold is EC：PC=30:70.
